First steps

(1) Activate University account

Having a University IT account is the key to all communication and digital tools and services at the University. If your u:account is no longer active, you may re-activate it here. Click here to learn about the services of the  the University IT department

(2) Announce and organize your course

Provide necessary information about your course and communicate with students and other instructors via U:SPACE for teachers portal and University-wide online learning management platform Moodle

(3) Consult Teaching Manual

Get familiar with the organization of University teaching either through these materials or consult the online Teaching Manual (pdf)

  • Study program director Ivan YUDUSHKIN
    Study Program Director (SPL) oversees and coordinates all teaching activities at the Center for Molecular Biology. She is your point of contact regarding coordination with other courses, course planning and execution, conducting and grading of the exams, quality assurance, difficult cases (e.g., cheating at the exam), etc
  • Student service Center officer Renate FAULAND
    Renate is assisting students and teaching staff in matters of course registrations, help enter information into course directory (U:FIND), prepare teaching employment contracts, enter exam grades, etc. She is your point of contact in matters regarding registration and admission of students to your course/exams, booking course venue, updating information into the course directory, etc.
  • E-multiplikator Daniel MALZL
    E-multiplikators help you set up digital teaching resources at the Center. This is your point of contact for setting up online conference tools (Zoom, BigBlueButton), hybrid teaching formats (on-site and online) and the University learning management platform Moodle
