Rotation projects (Wahlbeispiele)

General guidelines

  • Registration of the rotation project
Fill in the registration form and email or bring it in person to the coordinator (see table below). If the supervisor of your rotation project is not listed among the instructors of the corresponding courses (links in the table below), in addition to the registration form, an Exposé (a short abstract of the content, research goals and used methods in the planned project) must be submitted to the coordinator. Rotation projects not approved by the corresponding coordinator will NOT be recognized!
  • Execution of the rotation project
The typical duration of the rotation project is 4 weeks. You may negotiate slightly longer duration with your supervisor; however, a maximal of 5 ECTS credits will be awarded upon project completion
  • Project report
The project report should be completed according to the criteria and instructions set up by the project supervisor. The report should be drawn within a maximum of two months after the completion of the experimental work and handed in to the supervising group leader for feedback, including suggestions for improving. Having corrected the draft according to the suggestions, the project report must be signed by the supervising group leader
  • Assessment
The coordinator of the rotation project will issue a confirmation of the project completion with the grade suggested by the supervising group leader
